This cover bolts directly on top of the crank cover of the right side of the bike. Aluminum pads may require slight modification of OEM bodywork.

This cover does a great job to protect the crankshaft of the ZX10R, which is likely to be damaged in a hard crash on this side.
WARNING FOR OEM BODYWORK - In order to make this cover tough enough to truly protect the engine, Woodcraft had to reshape this cover from stock. As such, the rubber damper inside the fairing must be removed and the black lower fairing section must be trimmed for installation on stock bodywork. This is particularly the case with the aluminum skid pads. We have not run into problems with race bodywork, although cutting clearance for the cover will better protect your race fairings.
This cover is supplied with a new gasket to make the job complete. We recommend buying part number 60-0160LO to better enhance the protection and looks for the Left side of your ZX10R. If you do not elect to buy the 60-0160LO, you will need to buy the gasket (part number 60-0160LOG) to reinstall your stock outer cover.
